Cranberry Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2007
A bit too salty & too much butter for my taste, but my husband loved it! Overall it was good; I'm sure I'll make it again!

Stuffed Shells I

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2007
I made this for six women last night & they loved it! I used half ricotta & half cottage cheese - I blended all the ingredients in my food processor. As suggested, I used a ziplock bag to pipe the filling into the shells... could have used one more hand! Overall, very good recipe!

Asian Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2006
This was fabulous... I made exactly as recipe stated; only change I made was to roast at 325 for 45 mins. It had just the right amount of sweet/hot flavor.

Prize Winning Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2006
These were great.. I must admit I didn't do them on the grill: I did the rub, wrapped in tinfoil & put in the oven at 300 degrees for 3 hours - then put in a crockpot with BBQ sauce for another 2 hours. My friend the chef said they were some of the best ribs she's ever had! They fell right off the bone!

Nana's Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2006
This was very good; although next time I'll cut back on the sugar as some guests said it was too sweet. I made one & a half times the topping & added a couple more apples. I served it warm with cinnamon ice cream... yum!

Fruit Pizza II

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2006
Yummy. This was great; I used raspberries, black raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries. The glaze really added a nice flavor. I added a bit of powdered sugar to the cream cheese/whipped topping; I thought the cream cheese was overpowering otherwise... Will definitely make again!

These are so good and so easy. We've been baking them at our annual cookie baking party for the past 3 years and they're always a hit.

Baked Potato Soup II

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2005
This was so easy....and ready in no time (I had left over baked potatoes in the 'frig). A couple of changes I made were: 1) I sauteed some chopped onions & bacon before making the roux. 2) I used one cup of half and half with the skim milk. 3) I didn't use sour cream. It was very tasty; will definitely make it again.

Spring Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2005
Very good... I've made a version of this salad many times -- the fresh grapes were a great addition. The only change I made was to use craisins instead of the raisins... got rave reviews and an empty bowl!

Grilled Salmon II

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2005
I just served this to guests and it got rave reviews. My husband is not crazy about salmon & he even liked it! I followed the directions, except used fresh ginger as suggested. I only marinated for two hours 'cause of time constraints, can't wait to try it again when I have more time...definitely a keeper!

Enchilada Casserole III

Reviewed: May 17, 2005
I used canned enchilada sauce and black beans instead of the refried beans... I also used some taco seasoning when I cooked the ground beef to add more flavor. Definitely a keeper.

Green Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette

Reviewed: May 3, 2005
This was great! The tangy blue cheese and the cranberry dressing were a tasty compliment to each other. I chopped dried cranberries in the food processor with the dressing, added 2 Tbsp. of sugar to sweeten it up a bit. I also sugared the almonds. I will definitely make this again and again!

Yummy... I added some leftover asparagus and 6 oz. chicken broth because I only had a smaller can of diced tomatoes... very good!

Best Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2005
Yummy.... The only changes I made were that I added a box of fresh mushrooms & used half sweet & half hot sausage (doubling the amount called for). I used mini cheese ravioli - cooked them separately (like the recipe SAID) and added them just before serving. I took this to a neighborhood "soup party" and it was a hit!
