To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2010
Made some adjustments to make these a bit healthier but I thought they turned out great! Used frozen blueberries, subbed applesauce for the 1/2 of the oil and used 1/2 c. Wheat/ 1 c. White Flour. I also used the topping Chef Joy mentioned b/v it was less buttery and wouldn't sink to the bottom: 1/3C brown sugar, 1/8C flour, 1/8 tsp cinnamon, 1T butter. Thanks for a great base recipe!

Peppy's Pita Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
So the flavor of these was really good but I had an awful time getting mine from the counter top to the oven and then my pita dough started falling through the cracks of the racks.. did 1/2 this way and then did the rest on the stove top, which worked much better for me although a pocket didn't form. Will try again soon though!

Wow! I cut the butter in 1/2, using 5 Tbsp butter in the batter and 3 tbsp in the bottom of the pan. I also cut the sugar to 3/4 cup and used 3 c. Blackberries. Outstanding dessert! Thanks so much for my new go-to cobbler recipe!

Really good recipe.. I added tomato and shredded carrots to the veggie mixture and sauteed the zucchini with everything else. Also added bread crumbs to the top. Thanks for a great new Zucchini recipe!

Great pie crust! I added a tablespoon of sugar for a fruit pie crust and my dough needed an extra tablespoon of water but I was very impressed with the results!

Baked Bar-be-Que Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
Wonderful! Per other reviews, we pulled off the skin at one hour and put barbecue sauce directly on the chicken for the last 1/2 hour. We will continue to do our barbecue chicken this way! Thanks!

Calzone

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
Great recipe! Per other reviewers, I added oregano, basil and garlic powder to the dough. SO good. As for the filling, we used spinach, mushrooms, ricotta and mozzarella and had marinara sauce on the side for dipping. We will definitely make again.

I made the dough for this using the bread machine, let it rise in a 9x5 loaf pan and baked it in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes. Very yummy with jam :)

Udon Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2010
Loved this! We used thin spaghetti (the Udon noodles were really expensive at our grocery store) and subbed sesame oil and chile paste instead of chile oil. I also boiled & diced one boneless chicken breast instead of getting a rotisserie chicken. Thanks for a great recipe!

Since our last name is Parker, I saw this recipe and felt like we should give them a try. SO glad we did! The only thing we did different was adding a tsp. of sugar instead of the sweetened lime juice. Thanks for a great recipe!
