Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2012
We cut the dressing in half and it was plenty. Unless you like your salad completely soaked in dressing I would definitely cut back on the amount. I also used about 1/2 the amount of sunflower seeds. Delicious!

I followed recipe exactly (besides cutting in half) and these were delicious! I did make bigger ones at first and they flattened out so the rest I made a bit smaller. SO good!

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw I

I omitted the buttermilk altogether as I didn't have any and didn't want it to be too runny and used a bit less sugar. Altogether pretty yummy. I do recommend letting it sit for a few hours for best flavor.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
I loved the flavor and tanginess of the lemon filling and the meringue was great(although I did add a 1/2 tsp. of Cream of Tartar to it.) I would have liked more of the lemon filling so next time I will definitely do 1 1/2 times the filling. Other than that it was perfect!

Delicious! I added green pepper, onion and a can of diced tomatoes. Cooked 11 hours on low and it was perfect! Next time I will do a cup less broth as it wasn't as thick as we would have liked.

These turned out very yummy w/ a few healthier alterations. I used 1/3 c. applesauce and 1/3 oil instead of all oil, added a cup of chopped walnuts and used 1 c. Whole wheat flour instead of 1 c. all-purpose. I also reduced spices by 1/2 except for the cinnamon. delicious!
