About this Cook
Male. Age 39. professional artist, musician, and photographer. Great bartender, and not to shabby of a cook, but my specialty is baking, however, I hate sweets. Can't grill very well, so i learned to love my food burnt. Was either that or starve.
My favorite things to cook
Cat, Dog, ok...ok...just kidding. Cheese cake, chicken cordon blue, homeade pizza. Basically, I cook whatever is in the house at the time..making up as i go along, and usually taste pretty good (if i stay away from my grill)... love all asian food...real asian, not genral tso's stuff...real food. however I am white man who did not grow up in the culture, but interested in learning some real tips form this artful food. I love spicy hot. thai hot. the more red hot peppers the better. and that is why i also love the mexican food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
mom cooks everything well done. not cuz she cant grill...its cuz she think bloddy meat is dangerous. I say live a little....if i eat great foods and die early...its better than taking all the percautions and eating horrid food for life. I mean - no sushi? cant live without sushi.
My cooking triumphs
i did not burn my house down...yet
My cooking tragedies
um....lets keep it clean, ok people? I need to plead the 5th. this is a family site, rite?

Insanely Easy Vegetarian Chili
fantastic recipie. have made many times, and everytime i want some to freeze, there is none left... Basically i follow the recipie word for word, but i use all low sodium products, lowering the sodium %. I also omit the olive oil and just throw everything in a crockpot overnight. actually makes a great breakfast on a cold morning, lunch and dinner - yeah - i typically live off of it until its gone. its just that good. 5 stars from me.
