Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2012
Great recipe as is. No need for any changes. @Shaylene. You should have tried it as posted and then made your own changes on the next try. Sorry yours didn't turn out well, but give it another try, doing it the posters way, I think you will change your mind.

Egg-Free Low-Fat Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2010
Erika Angel, if you do not know the answer, it is not a stupid question. A cup is 8 ounces or 16 tablespoons, or 48 teaspoons. There are standard measuring containers for 1 cup, 3/4 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup and 1/4 cup to help you measure the amount you need.

Belle's Hamburger Buns

So far the best I have found. A little dense, but still a tasteful bun. Thanks. Very good as is but I think I may try bread flour next week to see if that is an improvement.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2006
Thanks for a great recipe. Wife wanted to try a new cookie recipe for our snacks at Sunday School class and I found this one for her. Luckily we left a couple at home or we wouldn't have gotten any. Telling them they were close to the Girl Scout's cookie, most said not close but better. Wouldn't change a thing.

Justin's Hoosier Daddy Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2006
We made this for a chili cookoff at church today. We made per recipe except we cut the chili powder to 3 tablespoons as we had read that it was over powering. Even with three tablespoons it was overpowering, and didn't even taste like chili.

Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2005
Thanks Amanda, for this great recipe. We had used a microwave recipe for the past 30 years or so and this is much more dependable. Our first batch was great and would only change the amount of peanuts to at least 1 1/2 cups or more. We use 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup white sugar as another rater had suggested and it comes out a nice color brown.

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: May 17, 2005
Great recipe M.K. We tried it in Texas muffin pans and they were great for individual servings. Made it just as you wrote it, no need for any changes. Never could understand why someone tries a recipe and makes changes before they try the original way first.

I was not a rice pudding lover until the wife made this one. Wouldn't change a thing as it is as good as it gets this way.

We had given our crockpot cooking up a long time ago until we ran into this recipe and seen so many ratings that we had to dig it out and try this one. We will rate it with one word "EXCELLENT" A beginner will look like a chef with this one.

Colleen's Potato Crescent Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2005
Definitely a 5 star recipe. We needed a recipe to replace store bought roll dough for our favorite apple dumpling recipe, which we just finished using with this recipe. Wouldn’t change a thing in the recipe other than using instant potatoes. We made enough potatoes from instant potatoes to equal the potatoes in the recipe. We will not be buying crescent roll dough from the store again. Made a few rolls from the left over dough and they were delicious.

The Best Chicken Soup Ever

To bad this only has 5 stars to rate this one. We loved it and fixed it for 50 seniors at church and it was a hit. Would change nothing
