Seared Ahi Tuna Steaks

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2012
Excellent! Used swordfish. Skipped the cayenne since we are spicy sissies. Other than that we followed the directions to the tee. 1.5 minutes on each side makes for a fully cooked fish instead of rare but it was super moist and perfect for us.

Almond-Topped Fish

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2011
If I owned my own restaurant I would serve this dish. It is fantastic! I want to try it next time with sour cream instead of mayo to see if it still tastes as good with less calories. I know some people skipped the onions and I think the onions are a must have with this dish. Delish!

Creamy Tomato Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
Super easy and tasty. I also skipped the chile-garlic sauce since I had everything on hand except that. I also used Italian seasoning instead of separate spices since I was out of thyme. I was expecting the sauce to be runnier but its actually pretty thick and coats the chicken well.

Tender Breaded Turkey Cutlets

Reviewed: May 12, 2010
It was very good. I cut the light sour cream in half and added 1 tbsp brown mustard and followed the suggestion of others to coat it and then let it sit for a minute (I left it alone for about 30 minutes while I went and did other things). I also cut the bread crumbs in half and that was plenty the other half would have still been sitting there when I was done coating. Of course I also sprinkled garlic, salt and pepper on it when I went to cook it.

Hot Crab Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2010
Brought it to our church group home meeting and it was delicious!!! I didn't have any hot sauce or cayenne so I used a sprinkle of creole seasoning.

Felix K.'s 'Don't even try to say these aren't the best you've ever eaten, because they are' Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2009
Amazing. I think it's all been said before. I have never come across a cookie recipe that produces a cookie that looks so perfect and tastes as good as this one does. It was so easy that my 4 year old helped me make them. My only concern is that people will think I cheated and bought a pre-made cookie dough :-)

Oatmeal Sourdough Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2009
Very good. I made it into rolls for the family and then liked it so much that I made another batch that I braided into a loaf and cooked for my dad.

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
Amazing! And dont forget easy. I made this for a church function for 60 people and the program ran long so I had to put it back in to reheat and it is a very forgiving recipe. The chicken breast were still moist even after being cooked for probably an hour too long. My family and friends love it and now they all have the recipe. 30 minutes and dinner is ready!

Crunchy Coconut and Lime Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
The recipe is good but I reduced the mayo down to 1/4 cup. I enjoyed the burger even more by itself with no mayo or bun. You could really taste the flavor then. I think it would be great on a salad!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
Superb. I took the advice of readers and skipped cooking the noodles and placed them in the 9x13 with hot water to soak while the sauce simmered. Very dense lasagna. I had never made it by overlapping 6 noodles on each layer before and was pleased to know the secret to a "no fall apart" lasagna straight from the oven (after resting time of course). I was very pleased with how it turned out. The good lasagna came with even better acid reflux :-)

Seasoned Fan Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
Good presentation! A little lacking in flavor. I will definitely season mine more next time. Possibly making it easier by putting it in the butter and pouring it on that way.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2009
I have been testing roll recipes for "the one" and this is it. Like most reviewers I skipped the crescent roll directions and divided it into 12 huge rolls and basted with 2 tbsp butter before and after baking. What an amazing recipe. My bread machine worked well with it. I am so pleased!!!
