Lazygirl's Ground Turkey Stroganoff

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
This was pretty good based on a number of changes suggested by others. I used about half an onion and4 cloves of garlic to brown the turkey with. I used chicken broth instead of water. I added peas and sliced mushrooms and about half a cup of sour cream to thicken it. It was pretty tasty and easy to make.

This was very good. I marinated it overnight and added some extra garlic (always). It came out very well. Will make again.

Black-Eyed Pea Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2009
This is very good and easy to make. I just made half the recipe with one can of black eyes peas (drained and rinsed) and halved the other ingredients (except the sauce). Let it sit overnight and it was very good. Will definitely make again.

Gazpacho IV

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2009
This was awesome! I followed the advice of several others and put 3/4 of the mixture through a food processor before adding back the remainder of the veggies. I also added some additional tomato juice to make it more soupy. By the following day, everything came together great. Highly recommended.

Cioppino

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
Fantastic. I could not get mussels, so I doubled the clams, which worked out great. I also used Mahi instead of Cod. I used fresh thyme and basil because I had some leftover from another recipe. Rave reviews. Makes a lot!

Cornish Game Hens with Garlic and Rosemary

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2007
This was great. I stuffed the cavities with bits of lemon, onion and garlic in addition to the rosemary. The sauce was fantastic. I did cook them for an additional 30 minutes and broiled them on high for about 5 minutes to get the skin extra crispy. Very good.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2007
This is excellent. I used three cans of diced tomatoes instead of the whole tomatoes and added extra chili powder because we like everything spicy. Just be sure to have a very large stock pot. I had to tranfer the soup from my regular stock pot to an extra large one.

Mostaccioli with Spinach and Feta

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2007
This is great. I find it's much better to use canned diced tomatoes in sauce rather than fresh tomatoes. It's too bland otherwise. I also increase the garlic.
