About this Cook
I am a mom to three energetic, happy, young children. I recently opened a preschool in my home. I love to cook for those who like to eat.
My favorite things to cook
I love to try new things. I love strong flavors and interesting combinations.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I cook a lot of Bengali food as my husband in from Bangladesh. I also cook my own spaghetti sauce and I make terrific Lamb shanks.
My cooking tragedies
I'm not great with fish and I recently attempted Corn Beef and Cabbage for St. Patrick's Day and that was NOT a hit at my house!

Chinese Chicken Salad III
My husband LOVED this recipe! He is not one to volunteer a comment but the first time I made this he told me he really liked it and thought it tasted better than the ones he has eaten in restaurants. By the way, that is HUGE because we live in the SF Bay Area and he eats out daily for work lunches and he travels for business all over the US. He even asked me to make it the following night! I stuck to the recipe except I added some chopped roasted peanuts and I used fried maifun noodles instead of the wonton wrappers. This is definitely a keeper! Thank You!

Italian Style Meatloaf I
I have to say that I really liked this recipe and so did my husband - and we do not like meatloaf! I just really wanted to try something different and this sounded interesting. The flavors are great and it doesn't have that bready taste. This will become a family favorite!
