I'm a wife and mother and though I don't LOVE to cook I'm good at it. I do however love to bake. I'm getting into learning to cook Korean food because I love it and my husband is of Korean decent. I also love Mexican, Italian, and Cuban food. MMM MMM GOOD I love to bake, so cakes, brownies, cookies. I love to try new things and if my husband loves it I know I did good. Cooking with my children, that brings us so much joy. They get to learn the tricks of the trade and spend time with mom. I've mastered a few things. I have people requesting my greens, pork n beans, potato salad, stuffing among other things. :-) Wow when I was about 12 I tried to make a coffee cake. Let's just say that I never knew fire could be such a pretty shade of blue. HA HA Another one would be when I was 13 I tried to make a cupcakes and icing from scratch. So I didn't have a recipe I just tried to go with what I thought would work. The cupcakes not so bad, but the icing is a different story. It was very runny (I don't even know) so I thought maybe if I icing the cupcakes and freeze them the icing will firm up. Well one of my friends came over and wanted some of the cupcakes, she pulled one out the freeze and the icing had froze. When she bit into it it chipped her tooth.
