Spinach Quiche

I made this with fresh spinach I had on hand & wanted to use, did not use any feta cheese, actually used about 3 kinds of cheese, mild cheddar, mozzarella & sharp cheddar, & used a pre-made crust. Hubby said it was the best quiche ever. Am making it again today!

Grandma's Egg Custard Pie

I just made this pie, and haven't cut into it, but it smells yummy. I just wanted to say I also had to cook this pie 55 mins., as someone else had mentioned it. Not sure why the big variation in time cooking from 35 mins. would happen. Don't know if it makes any difference, but I cook with gas. I used a 12 oz. can of evaporated milk and the rest 2%. I was skeptical of this fitting into a regular 9 in. crust, it didn't, so I had to use a deep dish pan.

Blackberry Pie I

I made this the other day, and it was one of the best fruit pies I've ever made. I even forgot to put the 1/2 cup of berries on top of the mixture, and it was still fine. I also used frozen deep dish crusts. Vanilla ice cream made it heavenly. I am headed to make it again now, and won't forget the extra berries this time! We found a patch of berries across the road, and are in blackberry heaven for the moment. Even a total novice can do fine with this easy pie.

Turkey Potato Casserole

Made this after Thanksgiving, and our guests loved this. I also used a can of mushrooms in it. One thing I would change; As everything else in it was already "cooked" basically, the onions had a very strong almost raw flavor, as it was only heated for 30 minutes. I would lightly saute' them before adding them in the next time. I will definitely make this again.
