About this Cook
I am a middle aged, happily married wife and mother of four adult children. I have three beautiful grandchildren. I enjoy cooking, boating, golfing, camping and most of all spending time with my family, especially when we can all gather together around the dinner table.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy slow cooker recipes, caseroles, pastas, mexican fair, desserts, and side dishes. I look for items that I can fix ahead and are still good staying warm so I can enjoy my family when they visit.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to cook with my grandchildren. My grand-daughter and I can whip up some awesome cookies on snow days.
My cooking triumphs
White lasagna, stuffed chili rellenos and sausage sauerkraut balls, only because they were very time consuming, but very well worth it!!!

Chicken Tetrazzini IV
Everyone is still raving about this recipe...only changes is I added chopped onion, pimentos, and diced green peppers to chicken when cooking. I added 1 cup of parmesean cheese to the mixture before adding spaghetti and then topped with mozzarella cheese before putting in the oven...then sherry is a must!!!! I will be making this many times...great freezer meal to make for later too!!!
