Chicken Supreme III

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2009
This gets a 5 because every member of my family will eat it! It's quick and easy and the leftovers are even better! Made as is.

Three-Cheese Chicken Penne Pasta Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2013
This was good, but not great. We ate it, I would make again for a change of pace, but would not add it to the regular rotation.

Slow Cooker Thanksgiving Turkey

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2009
Not bad if you are just looking to set and forget. I would have liked the gravy/juice to be thicker.

Charleston Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2008
I loved this recipe. I made it the night before and to let the croutons soak. I planned on adding the bacon in the morning, but my husband was trying to be nice and got up early to put the casserole in the oven! We put the bacon on top of the cooked casserole. It was still very good.

Very good and very fast. Great dinner for when you don't have much prep time!

Basic Fondue

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
I tried with beer as others suggested. I don't think I liked the beer. You could definitely taste it - and I do like to drink beer, just didn't like the taste in the fondue. Will try again without.

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2012
This was yummy! I just mixed mine all together instead of layering. I also added more rice, as it just didn't seem like enough. I use minute rice, but I couldn't imagine that would make any difference. I ended up using about 2 cups of uncooked rice. I cooked my chicken in a mixture of mostly chicken broth and water and shredded the chicken. And even though I am a cheese lover, I used closer to 2 cups of cheese (not including what I put on top) and it was still VERY cheesy. Any more would have been too much, IMO.

Creamy Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
Yummy! I followed others changes and used only 1 can of diced tomatoes and blended them up in the blender. The only other change I might make next time is to eith omit the sugar or use less, it was a little too sweet for me. Loved the soup on a hot Septmeber afternoon, I'm sure I will love it even more in the winter!

Special Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2009
I have always loved deviled eggs, but could never find the right recipe. This was it! Made it exactly as is. Make sure to get all the liquid out of the horseradish, or your filling will be runny. Thanks for the great recipe!

Black Bean Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
I did not like this at all - even after I added all of the ingredients, it didn't taste much different than just opening the can of black beans that I serve with tacos. After following the recipe exactly and not being impressed, I added a few extra ingredients, and still wasn't thrilled. Will not be making again. Thanks anyway for sharing.

Pork Chops and Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2008
Easy and tasty. I would advise using thick pork chops, as they seemed to get a little dry, or maybe add the pork chops later in the cooking process.

I loved this recipe! Can't wait to have the leftovers today! I did as others suggested and used the stuffing mix instead of croutons. Will make again!

I NEVER would have thought to look up a grilled cheese recipe! A friend of mine shared this on Facebook, and I had to try! Loved the ease and loved having them done all at the same time without using a bunch of pans to acheive that! YUM

Chicken Casserole Mississippi

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
This is a family favorite and I love it because it is so easy to make! I don;t put in as much chicken as the recipe calls for. I do it by sight. I also use extra cr. of Mushroom to make the noodles more flavorful. Leftovers are even better!

Very tasty! Mine wasn't runny at all, altough I elected to not add the tomato. I loved something new to do with all of my garden zucchinis. I ate mine as my meal!

Andrea's Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
This was great, but I made some changes based on other's reviews. I used beef broth instead of water, added diced tomatoes and about 1 lb. ground beef. I added all ingredients except the noodles in the crock pot and cooked on low 6 hrs. I then added about 1/2 of the box of the cooked pasta about 40 minutes before serving, letting the pasta absorb some of the flavor. Delicious! Will definitely make again.
