I am a 7 year breast cancer survivor. I work full time for a software company in Quality Assurance. I am a life-long student at our local college and will have my AS degree someday in Library Science. I walk in Breast Cancer walks that are 40 to 60 miles. I am mother of 2, stepmother of 2 and grandmother of soon to be 6. I love to cook and bake, and I love to read. I live at a beautiful lake on the Central Coast of California. It is a wonderful wine region so we do wine tasting and events.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook dishes with lots of FLAVOR! I love goat cheese and feta cheese and I love to make sauces. I love to bake desserts but my husband isn't a sweet eater so I end up bringing them to work, which has made me very popular!

My cooking triumphs
I made all the food for my daughter's baby shower. I think it was a big hit. People couldn't believe I made all the food! We host dinners at our house with our closest friends and we always like to shock and amaze. Rack of lamb on the grill, chicken marbella from the silver palate cookbook with ratatouille. Keeps them coming back everytime!!
My cooking tragedies
Too many to mention, but I learned from each one!! I struggle with timing my meals to finish at a decent hour.
