Vegetable Tagine

This was a nice change from a regular veggie stew-but I don't really care for the raisins. They were like biting into a ball of sugar. I would also use a different type of bean. The garbanzo beans stayed too firm to blend with the rest of the stew. I would try navy beans or cannelloni.

Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

I was under-whelmed by this recipe. I did follow the recipe with only a substitution of London Broil as the beef. While it was very tender and flavorful, it did not taste like Chinese. It tasted more like a pot roast.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Followed the recipe exactly except only baked for 15 minutes.While not terribly dry, they tasted a bit like burnt butter. Some people love that but I prefer a traditional cookie taste. Also, very dense since there was no baking soda.
