Roasted Red Pepper Tapenade

There's a couple difference between this recipe and mine ... 1) I use twice the amount of artichoke hearts, 2) mine calls for fresh parsley rather than cilantro, which is fine because I love fresh parsley It's also fabulous on a grilled burger with smoked gouda, then topped with a spoonful of the tapenade. Delicious!

Brown Sugar Smokies

No matter how many of these I make, there are never leftovers. I never skewer them. I just make sure the cut side of the bacon is down. I pack them in tight in the pan and completely cover with brown sugar. As they bake, about every 15 minutes I drain off the grease so they brown nicely all around with no turning needed.
