Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2006
I made these with a 3lb bag of Rhodes frozen dinner rolls. I used 1 stick of marg. and 1 egg, 1 T garlic powder, 1 T salt, 1 T Italian seasoning, and ~1/2c parm. cheese. The rolls were SO good. Everyone loved them and wanted the recipe.

Krispy Cream Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2006
I just made this for the second time. The first time it was pretty good. This time I forgot that it was for 2 pies and I only bought 1/2 the amount of ice cream. Since I had double "crust" I sprinkled the rest on top of the pie and added chocolate chips to the top as well. Served it with chocolate syrup drizzled over the top. It was AMAZING. It got many compliments!

YUM. So easy and so good. Makes a great healthy snack - good for when watching tv or a movie instead of popcorn or other unhealthy food!

California Roll Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2006
This is an AMAZING salad. The lettuce does get soggy after a bit, but if you put the dressing on right before serving i'ts fine. I couldn't taste the wasabi at all so I just leave it out.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2006
This was my first time making a roast and it was fabulous! The spice rub is amazing! I used a 6lb shoulder roast and after 1hr,30 min it was pretty rare (but our company loves rare meat so it all worked out :)). Also, I cooked this the night before, stuck it in the fridge, and then reheated it the next night. I cut it right before serving.

Sweet and Crunchy Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2006
This is my favorite coleslaw recipe now! I only had oriental flavored ramen noodles so I used it instead of the chicken and I also skipped soaking the noodles and left them crunchy. Very good!!

Beefburger Parcels

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2006
These are so good!! I didn't think the sauce was anything special and it definately doesn't NEED a sauce. I was trying to figure out how to use up ground meat I had in the freezer and still make something I could serve to company - these were perfect!

Old-Fashioned Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2005
Good vegetable soup. I used 1 1/2 cans diced tomatoes instead of whole (why use whole if you have to chop them?) I also added a couple zucchini. The celery wasnt very soft after 30 min of cooking, but it could be b/c I cut them a bit bigger. Tasted good with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. I am curious to see if the leftovers taste better tomorrow.

Black Bean and Corn Salad II

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2005
I made this with a bag of Trader Joe's roasted corn (based on the reviews, thanks! this gave it great flavor!) and a can of chickpeas. I also crushed up garlic pita chips and sprinkled them on top of the salad. Fantastic!

Barbecued Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2005
This was really good and easy. After about 7 hours of cooking I realized the top of the roast that wasn't in the liquid seemed to be kind of dry, so I flipped it over. Next time I will turn it more often and/or add some more sauce. (I made some extra sauce to put over the meat and the sauce is definately better when the meat is cooked in it, although it ends up being thin.)

California Chicken Stir Fry

I really like this one. I used frozen broccoli, fresh carrots and green pepper. I didn't think it was too sweet at all.

Rory's Most Wonderful Corn Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2005
I didn't have any corn bread mix, but this sounded really good so I decided to wing it by adding my own dry ingredients. It came out so good! I didnt' really measure but this is approximately it - 1/2 cup corn meal, 1/2 cup flour, 2 tablespoon sugar, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/2 cup milk. I will definately be making this one again.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2005
These were really good. I realized half-way into the recipe that I didn't have any molasses so I used honey and they tasted good. My dough wasn't all that sticky like other people mentioned. I will try again with molasses.

Lisa's Easy Chicken

Good stuff. I didn't have old bay and I added a teaspoon of chicken and grill rub. I will only use 1/2 t. of pepper next time. I also used one green and one red pepper and 1/2 zuchinni. Pretty too!

THIS IS SO GOOD! I didn't have any half and half so I used Rich's Whip whipping cream + milk (and left out the sugar.) I also added a few strawberries and some blueberries.

These are so good! Better than regular salmon patties. The potatoes give it a great texture. I used tuna and they came out great.
