These were great!! I couldn't bring myself to put the brown sugar in though . . . I'm sure it's great that way but at the last second when I was about to do it, I just couldn't-I like my savory food to be savory and I was worried it would be too sweet. I didn't miss it but I may try it sometime just to see the difference. Even without that though, these were great, easy, inexpensive and we all enjoyed them. I think they are probably divine cooked in butter as recommended but I too took the oven bake and broil route. I topped them with shredded iceberg lettuce, grape tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, & salsa. Delicious!!! I had some leftover filling which I ate on top of green lettuce blend today for lunch, topped with some cheese and used salsa as a dressing, it was so good! This is something I will definitely make again!
