About a year ago I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I did not want to take the drugs for it, so I've made some huge changes to my diet and lifestyle. The diabetes has been reversed, and I still do not take drugs for sugar management. My recipes are healthy and tasty, and they are gluten free, low glycemic, and usually dairy free, as well. My favorite things to cook
I cook real, whole foods. My family eats tons of veggies, fruit, nuts, and beans. I also like to bake healthy cookies, brownies, and other treats. Healthy, real food should NOT taste like cardboard!!!

My grandma taught my mom to cook, my mom taught me, and now I'm enjoying teaching my own children. God made food as a way for people to connect. It's an important part of family time!
