Garlic-Cheese Flat Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
Love it. Will never use the frozen garlic bread again. Used mozzarella cheese and cut back on cheddar. Used dried basil since that was what I had. Still sooo tasty. I would have been happy eating just the bread and forgetting my lasagna.

Harvest Pork Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
Not bad but won't make again. I doubled the spices and still kind of bland. I peeled the apples which I was glad of. Just not spectacular - a chickeny version of a hearty beef stew. Pork was tender though. I made it simmering long and slow on stove top in dutch oven. Will stick to my beef stew for more taste.

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2008
Usually I make a knockoff of Chili's Ribs which are awesome. But these take no time at all, are super, and great for weekday meal when I work. Sauce is so easy and my opinion is not too many ingredients. I use country-style ribs (more meat). Added a sprinkle of Penzey's BBQ Seasoning to ribs while in oven. For a crockpot recipe this is a winner. Most crockpot recipes are bland and unappetizing. A winner that I will definitely make again.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2008
Made for mom/dad, m-in-law, husband. All picky when it comes to c-dumplins. They LOVED it. This recipe saved me a ton of time in kitchen and it turned out fantastic. Added chopped carrots (added great flavor) to mine and celery and used boneless chicken thighs in addition to the breasts. They stayed moist and added the dark meat added great flavor and stayed moist. The biscuits really do turn into dumplings. Was skeptical so I made a batch of my spaetzle that I always add to soup, which are always a hit, and then added it to the sauce in the crockpot after I scooped out. But the biscuit dumplings were super. Definitely use two cans. I used Grands. Will make this a definite repeat in my recipe repetoire. Have already passed it on to my sisters and coworkers. A REAL WINNER!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
This is one of my favorite go-to recipes. I always make extra marinade because I like to dip the cooked chicken chunks in it and I make rice and pour a little marinade on it for serving. Recommend to all my friends. Make on grill and in oven and it always turns out great.

Grandma's Chicken Chardon

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
Exceptionally good. I doubled the mushrooms/lemon/butter also. I also pounded the chicken breasts which I usually prefer. Will definitely make again. So easy and fast. Great recipe.

Easy Honey Mustard Mozzarella Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2007
Made it exactly as recipe. Used Dijon mustard. Be liberal with lemon/pepper. Super dish. Next time I may try putting bacon on but holding the cheese until the end and just getting it bubbly and brown for the last couple of minutes. Bacon cooked but I like it a little crisper and it seemed the cheese held it back from crisping like I like it. Will definitely make it again. And it's even a great dinner on a work night - fast and easy!

Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2007
Made with pork roast and it's outstanding. So simple but so good. Can't wait to try it with beef roast. Made smashed potatoes and the accompanying gravy was a winner too.

Sugar Glazed Walnuts

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2005
Just like the McDonald's ones w/salad. I add a touch of vanilla and cook on stove top for a minute or so. Toss occasionally while drying. But this is almost same recipe I use and they are great. Very addicting!!!

Sorry, wasn't nuts about this one. Nothing special in my opinion. Won't make again - unlike others on this great site. My whole family was not impressed with this one.

Potato Salad I

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2005
Everyone raved about this potato salad. I did add more mayo and mustard than called for to make it creamier. Will definitely make this one again. The pickles add a great taste to it as well.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2005
My husband is not a fan of chicken but he loves this one. So easy to prepare and just the right touch of garlic. The chicken stays juicy and tender. Will make again and again. Even college daughter would find this one easy and fast to make.

Chocolate Cream Pie II

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2005
Absolutely the smoothest choc. pie I've ever made. I used homemade whipped cream topping and it really made it great. So simple I will never make it another way. Perfect chocolate flavor also. All my dinner guests raved about it - it was so good.
