Smooth Sailing Sugar Cookies

Cinnamon, Spice and Everything Nice Cookies

My family (and friends) LOVE this recipe! They turn out beautiful every time and taste oooh so yummy! I have made two minor changes: 2 tsp. baking soda (instead of 4) and 1 tsp. salt (instead of 2) Thanks so much for the fantastic recipe!

Spritz Orange Crisps

Wonderful recipe! My entire family LOVES them! I've tried this recipe two other times with two different cookie presses made from plastic and neither of the presses worked at all--kept popping apart or breaking. Finally found a WONDERFUL metal SAWA Sweden cookie press at Goodwill for 99cents that works fantastic. Now we can enjoy spritz cookies year round and this recipe will be at the top of the pile!

Snow Flakes

This recipe is fantastic. My entire family loved it. My 3 yr old daughter said, "MMMMM mommy, you make great cookie dough"--she helped me make them & got to taste test the dough. I had an awful time with my spritz cookie press though and ended up rolling the cookies into balls & then pressing with my thumb or a fork.

Sour Cream Lemon Pie

Very good recipe and fairly easy to make. My husband also loves lemon. Unfortunately, I didn't have any lemons for the zest, so I think he would've liked it a little more "lemony", but that didn't stop him from eating 2 pieces after dinner.

Deviled Sausages

Very good recipe. I used Hillshire Farms smoked sausage. I also added about 1 t. of corn starch to the water to help thicken the sauce a little bit. I didn't have any tomato paste on hand, so I substituted with 2T of spaghetti sauce. Worked out great. Will make this recipe again.

Easy Apple Coffee Cake

Very good and easy to make. Recipe directions mention walnuts, but they are not listed in contents. For additional flavor, I then poured the butter sauce recipe from "apple cake and butter sauce" over the coffee cake slices--YUM!
