Chili Rellenos Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2005
Great recipe. My mother-in-law said it was better than hers and that she would be using this recipe from now on. Everybody had seconds.

Guacamole

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2005
Best guacamole I have ever had. Was told it was even better than any resturant. You should for sure make a double batch cause it goes fast.

I wish I didn't even have to give them one star.

Bill's Blue Cheese Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2005
I did not care for this salad dressing and blue cheese dressing is my favorite. It just tasted like mayo to me. Maybe I needed a stronger blue cheese. Not sure.

Mediterranean Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2006
This recipe is to die for! It is now one of my favorites to have. The only thing that I changed in the recipe is that I used marinated artichoke hearts instead of canned artichoke hearts. Soo YUMMY!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
Not my favorite. I felt like the beer was too strong of a flavor in this soup. Maybe if you left it out? Not sure.

Chicken and Corn Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
This was a good recipe. The only difference that I made from the original recipe was that I added one can of chopped green chiles. The only thing is that I wish that it was a little more "soupy."

Very yummy and very easy. Just serve with some mashed potatoes and a veggie and your dinner is ready.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
My husband really likes this recipe. For me, I wish the biscuits were cooked a little bit more through and not so mushy. Maybe next time I'll bake those in the oven and just spoon the chicken over the biscuit.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
This recipe is excellent. I add potatoes to my filling but I always seem to have too much filling, so this is very messy to bake. I always put a cookie sheet under it to catch all the drippings. It's so good though. *Edit - I now make 2 pies out of this recipe instead of just 1 and I no longer have such a huge mess.

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
I had a lot of people ask for this recipe the night I made it. The only changes that I made is that I didn't put the mozzerella cheese on top, instead I put grated Parmesan cheese inside the tomato mixture. Also, I didn't serve the tomatoes on top of the bread because I was afraid it would get soggy, so I just served it side by side. Very good!

Artichoke Dip II

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
This recipe is really good. The only thing that I would change is that I would cook it longer than is called for.

Can't go wrong with this recipe. Super easy and very good. I usually use a more chunky salsa was making this recipe.

Faye's Pulled Barbecue Pork

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
This recipe makes alot (for not a lot of money!), so make sure you invite plenty of people over to enjoy these sandwiches. We like our pulled pork really saucy, so we added extra bbq sauce and also topped our sandwiches with cole slaw. YUMMY!

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
I'm not a big fan of ham but I made this for Thanksgiving last year because the turkey wasn't going to be enough for my big family and they all seemed to really like it. The only thing that didn't seem right is that it was more like a pulled pork after cooking that long than hunks of ham. I also added a can of pineapple slices with the juice to the slow cooker cause that's how the family likes it.

Chicken Paprikash II

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
This is so good. I usually make it into a Mexican style dinner with beans and rice and make burritos out of it. Really good. I usually use olive oil instead of bacon grease cause I always have that on hand and it turns out just as good.

Better Than Sex Cake II

This recipe is so good that there was a guy that said he didn't want any dessert at first and then ended up going back for seconds. I also had people asking for the recipe. I would highly recommend this recipe!

Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Best carrot cake I have ever had and best cream cheese frosting too! This recipe is very moist and dense and the frosting is just right (not too sweet).

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
This soup is really good. I made a couple of changes to mine though. I use hot Italian sausage in mine and I also added 1/2 a chopped onion and 1 cup of macaroni to mine to make it more hearty.

Justin's Hoosier Daddy Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2007
One of the best chilis I have ever had, besides my mom's. This chili has quite a punch to it, so be careful with the cayenne pepper. My husband and I usually both have to eat this with a Kleenex near by but that's the way we like it!
