Chunky Tomato Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
Really tasty and chunk. I too used the crockpot, actually overnight, and the vegetables did not get too squishy. Instead of corn starch, I added a few mashed potato flakes -- tastier and just as effective.

I cooked it as long as necessary to get the 236 degrees on the candy thermometer -- about 30 minutes. It turned out perfectly -- very nicely firm. Very tasty. Not sugary. Good results.

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
I have an 1100 watt microwave and following Linda's recipe my brittle burned after adding the nuts. I only did the 1 1/2 at the end for my husband because he likes it almost brown. I prefer it at 1 minute instead and it is gold like the photo on the original. I liked the hint posted about spraying the pouring edge of the pyrex bowl and also the wooden spoon with Pam and I used parchment paper to line the cookie sheet. You can re-use that several times and the brittle is

Microwave Carmels

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
So easy, so tasty. Nice soft and chewy, not jaw breaking. Very rich and creamy. Great gifts. In 2009 the 14 minutes gave me a too soft product. In 2010 15 1/2 minutes was almost too hard -- but probably closer to a regular on the stove caramel.

Wow. Easy, delicious and it looks good too. I will definitely be making this again. I used the graham crackers and baked it only 13 minutes which seemed perfect.
