I served this at a baby shower and while it was enjoyed by all, everyone kept asking for water because the punch was so sweet. I cut back the sugar to 2 cups, and part of that was Splenda because I ran out of sugar, so I can't imagine making it with the full 2 1/2 cups. I also must have let it thaw too long because the punch wasn't particularly slushy; I had large chunks in the punch bowl that I tried to break up with a potato masher, but once they were gone, there was no slushy consistency. I liked the flavor very much, but if I make it again, I'll cut back further on the sugar and/or maybe use sugar-free jello.
