Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2014
Love it! Just my changes that I've made after making this recipe several times. I ground up my own sirloin. I always do 4 lbs...triple the sauce ( except ketchup) adding fresh mushrooms. And I add a packet of brown gravy mix. Very good as is, but I add a little per my families tastes!

Yummy! I didn't have baking mix so I subbed flour, soda n salt n baking powder. Also melted real butter mixed in the parsley and I used garlic powder in the butter... I just combined that in a bowl and brushed them after they were done. Nice! paired these with my homemade clam chowder....very good!

Amazing! I made a half batch last night, just in case I screw up, but everyone was mad I didn't make more....absolutely delish! I did not put melted butter as others suggested, I did decrease cinnamon a bit and I also topped with powdered sugar for extra deliciousness! I was told to make again tonight, which I am in the process ofndoing! Thank for an amazing recipe!

Good Burger

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2013
Good...odd, but actually good. However, I used 3 lbs of chuck and I only used about 3 tbls of sugar...I couldn't imagine, 1 lb with 6 tbls....I also used red pepper flakes instead of seasoning....moist. Good. Odd...does that make sense?

Outstanding. I omitted the peas and onions. I used American cheese slices in the sauce. About 6 slices, and used the cheddar on top. Covered in foil. Took foil off last ten minutes and broiled to brown top. Will make again for sure. Highly recommend

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Love this recipe. Thought I would share my small changes. I use American cheese in the sauce. Just tear up the slices and drop in, stirring constantly. About 6 slices. I chop the onions, and add bacon bits to the layers (I do 3 layers) also used a little garlic powder in sauce. Topped with the shredded cheddar n uncovered last 20 minutes. Delicious !

I LOVE this dressing! I use different pasta ingredients most times...just pasta and frozen peas.....maybe next time celery or green pepper. It's the dressing that gets 5 stars! Wonderful!
