Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

I dont know what JVDMD did wrong, but these burgers are absolutely fantastic! I made them for a dinner at our annual cottage family reunion and they were a huge success!! Everyone raved, and every last burger was devoured. Even my aunt, who eats nothing, ate THREE!! They were honestly the best burger I have ever eaten, at home or at a restaurant. I must admit I did make a couple changes, but that was only to suit the tastes of my family (We LOVE garlic). I was using about 6lbs of groundbeef, so to the recipe I added 3 cloves of garlic, a dash of Clubhouse Garlic Plus seasoning, and a dash of oregano. I added less Worcestershire sauce, and omitted the ketchup, instead adding a spicy bbq sauce (exact amount unknown but greater than the amount of ketchup called for). I also left out the Parmesan and added extra cheddar, onion and black pepper. Once again, these are the most delicious burgers!!!! Thanks so much for the recipe!! ^_^

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

To be honest, just reading the ingredients I was a little unsure of this recipe, but I thought I would give it a try since it seemed so simple. Im glad I decided to! Im not a fan of alfredo in general, the dh is, but boy am I a fan of this! Its fantastic! You can't even taste the cream cheese! Its SUPER! I did make a few changes. I sauteed garlic and mushrooms with a bit of olive oil, salt and black pepper. Then I cooked chicken breasts sliced into strips. I removed the chicken and mushrooms but left the liquid from cooking in the pan. I made the sauce as the recipe calls for, only I used homogenized milk, added some more black pepper and garlic salt. I also think the next time I make this, and I will definitely be making it again, I will add roasted red peppers! Mmmm... WONDERFUL!

Pasta Hot! Hot! Hot!

Im giving this recipe four stars because it required a lot of change to suit my tastes. So here is what I did, and I love it! 1/4 cup of olive oil, 5 or 6 large cloves of garlic, 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, salt and fresh ground black pepper. I mixed it all together and baked in the oven until the cloves were soft and browning. Then I poured it all into my Magic Bullet blender and pureed it. From the blender into the frying pan, where I used the mix to sautee half a white onion and then some chicken breast. Once the chicken was cooked, I added a large can of diced tomatoes. Heated it through and let it simmer while the water boiled and the pasta cooked. The longer it simmers the better it will taste. After the pasta was cooked I threw it into the pan with the sauce and mixed it all up. Let it sit for a bit and then serve with fresh parmesan on top! Soooo good!!!
