Yummy Blueberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2012
With only half of the sugar topping, this cobbler was still plenty sweet, bubbly and satisfying. The family couldn't eat it fast enough.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2011
My husband and son gobbled these down. They aren't as fluffy as I expected, more doughy, but still yummy.

The flavor is great, but as given, the heat is a bit much. I'll definitely be making it again, and either eliminate the hot sauce or the red pepper flakes. With the Cajun seasoning (I use Slap Yo Mama), both those add more heat than is necessary.

Indian Tomato Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
I followed as closely as I could, only subbing ground cinammon for the cinammon stick and diced tomatoes instead of peeled whole. My family RAVED about this dish. And the leftovers are even better the next day.

Hash Brown Casserole II

Reviewed: May 29, 2010
I've made this casserole per the recipe twice, with it coming out a bit greasy because of the butter. So, I halved the butter, eliminated the topping and added a pound of cubed cooked ham to make this into a main dish casserole. It comes out wonderfully!

Cowboy Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
A good recipe as is, but I don't like butterscotch chips, so I substituted 1 1/2 bags of Heath Bit o' Brickle chips instead. As others have done, I also used 3 cups of oats and added 1 tsp of vanilla. A keeper.

Apple Breakfast Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2007
My husband and son loved this bread so much that they've begged me to make it again. The only changes I made were to leave the apples unpeeled and use a 9 x 5 loaf pan (reducing the cook time to 50-55 minutes). Super simple and tasty and a great substitute for bagels or muffins in the morning.
