Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

I cannot explain how amazing these turned out! I followed others advice and added more baking soda and flour. I also dumped random amounts of baking items from pantry: whole bag of white choc. chips, whole bag walnuts, half bag of toffee chips. I chilled the dough before baking as other suggested at 335 deg. for 12 min. They stayed big and did not flatten out at all and everyone gushed over them. My advice: read the reviews and take these other smart ladies advice...then MAKE THESE!!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

This was my first time to make the cookie from scratch. Now I know, I prefer the break and bake type peanut butter store bought dough. My co-worker and I both (accidentally) brought these to a party and hers (using store bought cookie dough) were better. These are dry to me and I prefer chewy. Not bad, but not at all worth the extra trouble.

Pecan Surprise Pie

Very yummy and very easy. Made for a dinner party and folks raved about it. Not overly sweet like many desserts. Omitted the cloves and still great. Would use maybe a half cup more pecans next time and the store bought crust I used was not the best, but I for sure will be making this again!

Mini Sour Cream Biscuits

Spicy Corn Dip

I liked this and most people at the party loved it too. I served it cold initially. My bf, who will eat anything passed on it all together though. Says it was too heavy. With the leftovers...I spread it out in a casserole dish, sprinkled Tony Chacheres on top and then a layer of cheddar cheese. Baked it at 350 until the cheese was melted and bubbly. I

Cookie Balls

These are so yummy. I followed a reviewers advice and after freezing the dough a bit, I dipped them half way and put them back in fridge to set up...then I held the base and dipped the other half. I also used a ziplock bag with a tiny hold to drizzle delicate milk choc. on top. My bf could not believe they were not store bought...I wish I had taken a pic because they looked so perfect, but they were gobbled up way too fast.

Barb's Broccoli-Cauliflower Salad

Crawfish Chowder

Very yummy. I used the entire block of cream cheese and 2 cans of Shoepeg corn and 2 packs of the frozen crawfish tails. Added a lot of Tony's Chacheries (sp) for kick. Will add chopped potatoes next time.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

The cake was a good bit of work but it was yummy. I cant give 5 stars because I had to freeze it to be able to transport it. I piled on all the frosting and it slid off the sides a bit. It was just difficult to move.
