Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: May 22, 2010
Overall, a pretty tasty recipe. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that it is far too rich. I think I'll try it next time with sour cream instead of mayonnaise and I'll cut back on the cheeses.

Mom's Baking Powder Biscuits

I added a 1/2 cup of white sugar to this recipe for a sweeter dessert-type biscuit. I also reduced the oven temperature from 450 to 400. These were simple and came out great!

I'm not sure what went wrong with this recipe. It was lacking something. I thought it had quite a bit of potential. Not sure if I would make this again.

Brunch Scones

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2005
These scones turned out fantastic! Moist & fluffy. I only had salted butter in but they still turned out great. The dough was a bit moist so I didn't bother rolling out the dough. Instead, I just divided the dough into eight pieces and pressed them into circles. I also didn't bother brushing the tops of the scones with the egg yolk. To me, that just didn't seem necessary. I will defnintely make these again!!

Cheesy Mexi-Rice Casserole

This recipe was terrible. I even followed some of the suggested modifications and it still turned out horrible. Not a single member of my family ate more than 2 mouthfuls. I would definitely never makes this again.

Fruity Curry Chicken Salad

I thought this recipe was excellent! Next time I make it, I am going to add some seashell pasta and serve it as a cold pasts salad. Would definitely make it again!
