This was EXCELLENT in taste and presentation! I made it for a Board of Ed. meeting at our school and they loved it. Can't wait to serve it at our Thanksgiving dinner this year.

Best Ever Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
This recipe has been in my family for generations except we use a small can of tomato paste in lieu of the juice. I also throw in a dash of garlic powder for flavor. This is the best meatloaf, meatball, stuffed pepper, cabbage roll recipe, i use it for everything!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2010
This was excellent! Family loved it. I used Beefy Mushroom soup instead of golden, just a preference of mine, and since it was already 'beefy', I backed off the Worcestershire sauce. This is delicious!

Jalapeno Poppers I

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2010
I love this recipe except I use Cubanelle (mild italian) peppers. They are bigger than a jalapeno so you need more of the filling. I also add a few minced garlic cloves to the mixture. DELICIOUS!!!

Ricotta Cheese Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
These are probably the BEST drop cookies I've ever made! The family devoured them! They are so soft and moist!!! I would give this a ten if I could :) They would even be good with a little lemon flavor somewhere...I might try that in the frosting next time!

Alfredo Mostaccioli

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
I've been making this recipe almost exactly for years! The only difference is I use 1 quart of milk and 1/2 pint of heavy cream, reserving one cup for the end. I do let the sauce thicken more and then I bake it in a lasagna dish. This was my Italian husband's family recipe. It really is WONDERFUL!

Shortbread Cookies II

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
WOW! These are amazing cookies. Such a simple recipe too! I was going to dip them half in chocolate but they were all gone by the time I got around to it. I used different sized biscuit cutters (just simple circles with a scalloped edge) and they looked so elegant! Thanks for the great recipe I'll be making a lot!!!

Cookie Balls

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
My friend gave me this recipe years ago except it just called for chocolate chips melted in the microwave. My daughter made them for a cookie contest in Girl Scouts and won for her troup and district and took second in regionals! She was young at the time and could make this recipe all by herself with minimal help from mom. :) We did melt white choc chips too and drizzled across the milk choc for appearance. They are delicious!!!

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2009
This recipe is so simple, delicious and elegant! Thanks so much for sharing it. I made it a year ago for the first time for my kids and hubby (who loved it) and have impressed many a dinner guest with it since then. It has just as nice a presentation as it does flavor. I've even added sauteed baby portabellas on occasion which also goes well with this flavor combination. Thanks again!

Elegant Pork Loin Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
I made this for our annual Christmas party we have with some friends. This was absolutely amazing! I used dried cranberries in place of prunes and CranApple juice instead of just apple. It was wonderful!!! Thanks for sharing.

Coq au Vin alla Italiana

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
This was WONDERFUL!!! Don't make the same mistake as me though, I put in the whole can of tomatoes without draining them and the sauce came out so watery I ended up adding a can of tomato paste to thicken it up. Even with that, this was so delicious. Served it with angel hair pasta and even my picky eater liked it, although she ate around the mushrooms :)

Chocolate Peanut Butter Wacky Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2008
This recipe for the cake was delicious, but the icing...not so much. I tried it again using powdered sugar (more than 1 cup though...just kept adding until it was the right consistency)and it was superb!!! Hope this helps!

Creamy Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
This recipe was FANTASTIC! The pies came out picture perfect (of course everyone dug into them before I had a chance to snap a picture)! This was the first time I ever made a berry pie and I was nervous but it came out great! I served it with fresh whipped cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream...YUM! Thanks for the great recipe!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

These were the most delicious cookies I've ever baked! They were moist and the icing was very easy to drizzle and they looked as good as they tasted. Thanks!
