Apple Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
Wow! This is a great recipie! We have a lot of apples from our trees that we peel and freeze to use in the winter and this recipie is a winner. The only thing I didn't do is use nuts in the topping and I added one more T of butter for the topping and melted it before I combined it with the brown sugar and cinnamon. This is just more like the topping that I use on my good old standard coffee cake. I am also sure I had more apples than called for -- maybe 4 C before frozen. This coffee cake was so moist and flavorful -- and sweet, but not too sweet for us, well, as you can see, I think is a great recipie. I will use it again and again.

Fresh Apple Cake II

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2006
This is a great recipe! I've made it twice and I don't use the nuts. The first time we did frost it for a party and today I made another, but left it unfrosted. This is a keeper for us!

Creamy Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2006
My son loved this and I really like it too. It doesn't taste too much of bananas, but it is so moist and better yet, no crumbles! It was great for a picnic and doesn't need any butter because it is so moist. I think it has more of a coffee cake taste due to the cinnomon. This one is a winner with us!

Raspberry Pie III

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2006
Oh no, I hate to rate this recipie down, but it didn't work for me. It was very, very runny though I did add the tapioca and followed the directions. My kids did like it, but I personally found it very tart. I wonder if it has to do with the kind of raspberries we have in our patch. Personally, I have not yet found a really good recipie for pies or muffins with raspberries, and the only thing I know for sure now is that they take a lot of sweetening for me.

This was delicious! My son and husband just loved it. I did add the tomatoes like others have. I think this recipe is a real winner!

Pistachio Fluff Fruit Salad

This recipe was a HIT at a dinner party we went to. I used the lesser amount of cool whip as others had recommended and it was just YUMMY.

YUMMY! I am eating some as I write this. I added the 2 T of water like recommended in other reviews and it worked fine. I found this not at all troublesome to make and plan to make it for an upcoming party. YIIII HAWWWW!
