Unbelievable Rolls

These were awesome! I made them for hamburgers and I loved the soft and light texture they had. Followed the recipe exactly until I went to add the margarine and found I was OUT!! So I substituted oil for it and they turned out beautifully! Next time I'm using butter!

Grandpa's Tomato Gravy

This is awesome stuff. My children (who are not picky eaters) loved it and so did I. We added mushrooms for fun since I was out of onions. I also used fresh tomatoes for the diced tomatoes and serve it over tinkyada rotini noodles.

Cool Whipped Frosting

All I got was a runny mess. Had enough to try again and made sure to go exactly by what the recipe said and STILL ended up with another runny mess. Yes, I used instant vanilla pudding.

Spinach Skillet Bake

I've been making this recipe for years and we use the Monterey jack cheese. I also throw in a beef bouillon cube to give the flavor a boost. This isn't one of those dishes that grabs your taste buds and makes them sing but we enjoy it, especially with hot french bread on the side. Don't be afraid to boost the garlic as well if you love it.

Cinnamon Cream Syrup

Unless you like the taste of evaporated milk I suggest you find another syrup recipe. Maybe whipping cream or half n half would improve the flavor but I wouldn't waste it imo.

World's Best Lasagna

I have made this two or three times now and it always comes out very bland. I thought maybe I had just plain messed up the first time and made sure to follow the recipe exactly my second time through. Still bland. Maybe I'm just not a fan of ricotta cheese vs. cottage cheese.

Mexican Style Shredded Pork

Awesome! This recipe is a keeper. It was really difficult to find chipotle sauce. I ended up using a can of chipotle peppers in a can that I found at Walmart. They were whole and I dumped in the whole can. Next time I will just take one or two whole peppers from the can and blend it with some of the juice and add it.
