Spicy Black and Red Bean Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2014
This makes a ton which is great. It's not spicy at all and I failed to read the reviews beforehand or I would have known to add more spice. I omitted the sugar and can't tell that it was missed. Will make again.

Smashed Cauliflower

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2013
This was very good. After reading reviews, I decided to drain all the broth before mashing and am glad I did. It was still a bit runny. I can't imagine leaving all the broth in. Very delicious though and will make again.

Breakfast Casserole I

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2012
I thought this was good but kind of bland. After I put some salt and peppper on my serviing it was delicious. Next time I would add some spicier cheese and maybe some onions. I added some fresh spinach. It's a keeper.

Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2010
Very yummy! I used all 6 cups whole wheat flour, applesauce instead of oil, added some nutmeg and 2 cups zucchini. Because whole wheat flour is denser, I added milk until the desired consistency. So delicious!

Easter Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2009
I layered the bacon on the top instead of mixing it in because I have one non-bacon eater. The casserole was very bland but that may have been because the bacon wasn't mixed in. Cook time was longer than I expected. I browned hashbrowns first too.

Fast and Delicious Black Bean Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2008
Very yummy. I didn't add the salt and am glad I didn't. The ham added more than enough, and even at that it was more salty than I like. If you add the ham, DON'T ADD THE SALT!

Soy Ginger Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2008
To die for! Definitely restaurant quality! I didn't have any fresh ginger, so I used a few pinches of ground ginger. Marinaded about 6 hours. I thickened up the left over marinade with flour, poured over salmon and topped with some fresh diced tomatoes. Absolutely delish!

Made this for Christmas- very, very good! I used whole wheat lasagna noodles and small curd cottage cheese instead of ricotta. Will definitely make this again!

Easy Guacamole

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
This was really good and easy. I used salsa instead of a tomato and lemon juice instead of lime. The great thing about guacamole is you can fudge on some of the ingredients.

Bread and Celery Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2007
Delish! I used half whole wheat bread and half cinnamon raisin bread and added 1/2 c. chopped carrots. It was very very good! A bit more cinnamony from the bread than I would have liked but I would still definitely make this again!

Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2007
Not sure what I did wrong, but this did not gel at all even after 7 hours in the fridge. Some at my Thanksgiving table liked it though. I didn't.

Blackened Tilapia with Secret Hobo Spices

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2007
Very very yummy! I cut back on the cayenne pepper and it was still pretty spicy. I didn't use the bread and opted for brown rice instead. Still very good. This a restaurant quality talipa recipe!!

Made this on Labor Day. Big hit! After reading the reviews here I used reduced sodium soy sauce. I marinated overnight. Would definitely make again!
