I'm a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants cook whose skills were honed as a new wife in a tiny, poorly equipped kitchen and in uni share-houses. I'm a 21yr old student and vegetarian. I don't measure ingredients but go by look, feel, smell and of course taste.....makes my recipes a bit hard to follow though!

Dhal, savoury rices, pasta sauces, stirfries, noodle soups, anything with coriander (cilantro) in it!

Always, ALWAYS cook to music! It puts you in a good mood and I swear happiness makes the food better!

Discovering that adding tinned beans and/or pasta to tinned soup makes it a meal

A couple of collapsed cakes and some exploded muffins.
Leaving the best soup EVER in a crappy wok for 10mins, during which the wok rusted and filled my soup with rust!
