About this Cook
I am in car sales, single, and cook to relax. I'm about to turn 40 (but of course only look about 32)! No kids but extremely close knit with my family. I'm getting a miniature long hair dachsund puppy to hang out with me in about two weeks. I live right off of an in town lake here in Oklahoma City and really miss San Antonio Texas. I will retire in the Hill Country some day if it's the last thing I do! Wait...I guess it would be the last thing I did. Haha
My favorite things to cook
Appetizers and snacks to take to gatherings with friends. When we go to the lake every Sunday in the summer, everyone hangs out at my boat since there is usually an ample supply of ceviche or some other beer absorbing treat. Grilling is my absolute passion - evening breeze, garden all around, something extraordinary cooking over the coals...
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas breakfast. Everybody goes to Mom's and brings something with them. I usually sport the overnight breakfast egg casserole. Mom makes monkey bread (the pull apart sticky roll thingy) and my brother usually only manages to get my nieces there - we forgive him though as they are pretty much the holiday highlight. Smell of coffee as only my Mom can brew mingling with turkey bacon, brown sugar, and spices from the casserole.

Dill Dip
This is delicious! Have made it about 5 times and get raves every time. Try hollowing out a pumpernickel round and putting the dip inside and serving the bread chunks to dip with - works great and looks like it came straight from a caterer! Thank you for a wonderful staple to my appetizer lineup!

Swiss Chicken Casserole II
I have made this recipe exactly as written several times and it is truly delicious! It does not taste at all like it's as easy to make as it is. I highly recommend it as the leftovers are great too - if there are any!
