Savory Bubble Bread

I am not sure what went wrong! I was very excited to try this after the fantastic ratings but I thought that it tasted awful. The herbs were WAY too strong. I will not be making this again.

Easy Grilled Tri Tip

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2007
I thought that this recipe was very good. I did not have time to marinade that long so I used my foodsaver to vacuum seal it for 1 hour. The meat was very tender and flavorful. Thanks for the great recipe!!!

Chocolate Cherry Cake III

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2006
I wasn SOOOOO not impressed with this cake. It looked beautiful, but that was about the most exciting part of it. I thought that the actual cake part was very bland. It was not bad tasting, just not great. The texture was very moist. The frosting was very good and had good chocolate flavor. It kind of saved the cake. Without that it would have just taseted like bread with the occasional bite of cherry. Sorry but I will not be making this again. If I am going to spend the calories I want to enjoy every bite.

Cinnamon Cream Syrup

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2006
Wonderful flavor. I served this over pecan waffles and got RAVE reciews from my family. I would have liked for it to be a little thicker though. This may have happened because I had to substiture whole milk for a portion of the cream. But other than that it was wonderful!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2006
I thought this recipe was excellent. I did change it a little bit. I used a ham bone with a little meat left on it. I boiled it to make stock and used this in place of the water. Then stripped the meat off the bone to use in the soup. I also put a few sprigs of fresh thyme in it...the result was soooo good. I made it for a friend who was sick and my husband was begging me to get them a pizza and let us have the soup! This is going in my recipe box for good!
