Fasoliyyeh Bi Z-Zayt (Syrian Green Beans with Olive Oil)

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2007
These are fantastic! Everyone ate way more than I expected. I made again the next night and stuffed them in a pita with hummus. Delish! I think this is my new favorite way to eat green beans!

Pineapple Cranberry Relish

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2011
When I put this out on the table for Thanksgiving, everyone groaned. They are very partial to the gelatinous can shaped slices we have had at previous thanksgiving diners. Well no more - Everyone loved it! Many of my family members even asked to take some home with their leftovers! The pineapple is the key and the nuts add a wonderful crunch!

Chinese Napa Cabbage Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2005
Fantastic! I use prepackaged - coleslaw - it saved time and was even better. It is a huge hit. Often I add chicken strips and mandarin oranges to make a meal out of it.

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2007
I always get a bit overwhelemed when looking in the Jello/pudding section of the grocery store. I didn't even know that they made a 5oz box of Pudding. So inadvertantly I grabbed one small Fat-Free, Sugar Free, Not realizing it was only 1 oz. Needless to say, after 4 hours in the fridge my pudding was no where near setting. So After reading through many reviews, somewhere around page 6, I came to someone who claimed that her supermarket was out of 5 oz. and she got 2 smaller ones instead. *Bingo* I went back to the store and started all over again. I am so thankful I did. This was not only the best Banana Pudding I have ever had, it is the best pudding I have ever had. Try it! Just note that it is 5 oz. of instant vanilla pudding.

Wow. This isn't your traditional pumpkin pie. It was so hard not to dig into it and taste it before the company came. It made the house smell wonderful.

Wow, I never expected it to be this good! The salsa was amazing and the chips were awesome. Definatly worth the time it took to make them. Everyone gobbled them up. I was so sad to see that there were no leftovers.

Delicious! My market was out of the Mushroom soup so I had to substitute the garlic mushroom. It was great. I cant wait to try it with the regular mushroom soup. Everyone raved about it at my Easter dinner.

The sauce is amazing. I crave these all the time. I do use a shortcut..... Frozen battered fish that I can just pop in the oven.

Strawberry Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2007
Where did my strawberries go?...I followed the recipe exactly. I used 2 aluminum bread pans. It took about 1&1/2 hours to finish baking in the center. The strawberries vanished after it baked and I wish I had doubled them. I could barely taste them The bread was also overpowered by the cinnamon. Next time I will double the strawberries and cut the cinnamon down to 1/2 teaspoon.
