Salmon Patties II

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
Great! My mom made these but used bread crumbs. I think folks back then used what they had. Thanks for sharing, they were great and I would make again. I used left over salmon that we grilled and it was yummy! Will do again.

BEST EVER. Heavy that is for sure. I doubled and served to over 40 people. Cake is so rich you don't need a huge slice. Tastes awesome cold. Will make again and have several requests to make again. Love this recipe!

Amish White Bread

Awesome. First time making bread. Family loves it and will continue to make. I will cut down sugar next time, too sweet, but still delicious. We made sandwiches, awesome toast, and french toast.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
Awesome. Should have thickened before putting buns on top to cook. Family loved it. I did add two cans of soup and replaced water with chicken broth. Added poultry seasoning, cumin, garlic salt. Added frozen peas/carrots in beginning. The veggies were too small, would like this again, maybe with fresh to place larger pieces of carrot in. Small boys 10,9,6 and picky eater hubbie, all loved it!!!

Apple Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: May 20, 2007
Oh my gosh, another winner. We made for just our kids, a big hit. We made for a dinner party and another big hit!!! It is super easy and quick. Just yummy! It's light and chicken (good chicken) cooks up so tender. No flavor here over powers and it blends so well together. Yummy!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Easy and delicious. I used 1 1/2 cups of 1/2 and 1/2 instead of 2 cups milk. That was the only change! Just loved it with noodles, chicken and broccoli! Kids asked for the meal next day! YUM

Mandarin Orange Cake I

Reviewed: May 20, 2007
Made just like the recipe stated, however used two 9 inch rounds and placed topping in center. There was PLENTY of topping for the cake! For a teacher event I will dress it up a bit on the outside with toasted coconut. I like the idea of using the orange cake mix next time. I had a hard time finding just yellow! Made for two events and they were both a HIT! Love this recipe. It's easy and Yummy! We are not cake lovers here, but his is a hit!

Baked Spaghetti II

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2007
Not bad. I did not have some of the stuff. I browned the beef with Italian spices and fresh garlic a little onion. mixed in a can of tomatoes, mixed the cooked spaghetti, topped with ricotta mixed with an egg, peper, salt along with 1/4 each of parmesan, mozzarella and cheddar. Topped with a can of tomato sauce. LOVED IT! Turned out great after baked. Served with salad and strawberry shortcake! YUM

Easy and Delicious Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2006
We love it. It looks terrible, but tastes awesome. My kids like it with rice better than pasta. I find if I use an italian dressing with balsamic vinegar or darker spices the chicken is darker and looks better when all mixed up. Tastes even better the next day. My kids are boys ages 4,7,8. This was a huge hit even with company and requested again and again!
