Ground Beef Quiche

I'm not a quiche person but I had ground beef and wanted to try something different. This seemed quick and easy so decided to try it. I followed the recipe with the exception of the mayo and pastry shell. It was very easy to make and my family really enjoyed it very much! It was pretty filling and you can add whatever you enjoy. This will be going into my recipe box! Thank you!

Turkey Picadillo II

I made this as the recipe directs with one small change, less cayanne because my husband does not like foods that are too spicy hot. My whole family enjoyed this dish on top of burger buns as well as with rice! The flavors are so rich and yummy!

Kyle's Favorite Beef Stew

I have been looking for a stew recipe that my family will love for a couple of years now. This one comes the closest to it! My 14 year old son doesn't particularly care for stew but he said this one was pretty good. Thanks for sharing!

Garlic Cauliflower

Cheesecake Brownies

Quick and simple recipe if you don't want to have to make brownie's from scratch. I like Ghirardelli brand brownie mix, adding the cream cheese mixture makes for a delicious dessert or snack!

Macadamia Nut Chocolate Chip Cookies

Can't get cookies much better than chocolate chips with macadamia nuts. These cookies were delicious. That said, I was puzzled after mixing at how little dough there was. I suppose it might make 36 mini sized cookies which is not much in my book, lol! Wish I read the reviews before making it and I would have realized (from other poster) that you have to double the recipe for regular size cookies. This is a keeper though.

Beef Bulgogi

Being raised on mostly Asian food, I love Bulgogi and Kalbi. That said, this is a great recipe! Very authentic, no need to make any changes at all. I used flat iron steak, cut diagonally in thin strips. Marinated for about two hours then put the strips on skewers to make grilling easier. Cooking was quick and the meal was delicious! The meat was super tender and tasty! Thanks!

Sirloin Steak with Garlic Butter

This recipe sounded scrumptious especially since I love butter and garlic. I was a bit disappointed that I wasn't blown away at all. Guess it's just not my cup of tea.

Chicken Paprikash

I doubled the recipe and ended up with way too much dough for the dumplings and ended up throwing away half of it since we don't care to eat too much starchy foods. I will skip the dumpling and next time use some other type of pasta instead. Also, I used boneless, skinless thighs...I cannot imagine why using bone and skin would make a big difference except to add more fat and maybe bone marrow juices. In any case this dish was very good and will be added to my recipe staples. I might add a bit more paprika as suggested by some.

Eggplant Parmesan II

I pretty much followed the recipe with one exception, I baked the eggplant on 450 degrees for about 5 minutes per side. Then of course put it all together in my pan and baked at 350 for about a half hour. I only used two large eggplants because three looked like it would be too much. Two large eggplants was just right for three layers in a 9x13 pan. I actually had a few sllices left over. Yum, this dish was very delicious, we all enjoyed it very much and look forward to the left overs tonight!

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

This sauce is so simple and easy to make and very tasty as well! We normally just use a bit of mayo but this sauce makes the Asparagus to much tastier! A definite keeper indeed! YUM!

Seafood Piccata

Wow I should have taken the advice of others who made half the recipe! This was enough for three meals for my family of three. We enjoyed it very much though I have to admit that the flavor of the wine was a tad strong for my taste so I'll probably lessen it just a little the next time. Also I forgot to buy parsley and think that would add a nice touch to the flavor. Overall a good dish that I will be making again.

Savannah's Best Marinated Portobello Mushrooms

The only modification I made was to double the recipe because I had five mushrooms. I used red wine that I already had in my pantry. I did not like the flavor, my son said it was "okay" but did not have seconds as he normally does. This was just not my kind of flavoring I guess.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

I made a batch for the Sunday school kids and my son said they all enjoyed it very much. I enjoyed it as well, what a great idea! I actually used the Toll House pre made dough, no worries about raw eggs that way. Yummy!

Baked Pork Chops I

This review is actually for the modified recipe which adds a couple cloves of garlic, a can of golden mushroom soup and cayenne pepper. I deleted one star only because I used additions to this dish which turned out really tasty! I generally don't make pork chops since it tends to be a bit dry and not so tasty but the modified recipe is so good I will definitely make this one again! The wine makes this dish like eating in a good restaurant, yummy!

Arroz con Pollo II

This recipe has been in my box for the last 18 months when last night, not knowing what to make for dinner I decided to finally try it. OMG! This is so delicious! The aroma while it's cooking is mouth watering and the flavor is wonderful! I have to ask myself why it took me so long to try it when I could have enjoying it for all these months! The only thing I did not add is the green bell peppers since I had none. YUM! YUM!
