Perfect with fresh pineapple and ham steaks that I had on hand.

Broccoli Beef I

I was surprised at how good this was! I added a few more veggies and didn't use all the sauce, but it had great flavor!

This is complicated, but worth it in the long run!

Lemon Coconut Squares

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
Good, but next time I'll add some lemon extract or zest to bring out the lemon flavor a little more.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
Whoops! I accidentally added a teaspoon of curry because I wasn't paying attention. I still added the cumin though, what could it hurt, right? This was delicious! I diced and added half a red pepper for some color, and served it in fresh tortillas.

Awesome Spicy Beef Kabobs OR Haitian Voodoo Sticks

Everyone enjoyed this recipe, I'll make it again for sure. Plus, it's a great way to stretch out the steak on a budget!

Chinese Cold Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
Great flavor, but I had it warm rather than cold. It was a little too hot for me though, I think next time I'll use 1/2 the amount of crushed red pepper, it's safer to let people add more after the fact than try to tone it down. I also used a little fresh ginger in the sauce, excellent!

Roasted Chickpeas

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
Good flavor, but not as crisp and crunchy as I'd like. This would be a great dish to go over rice instead!

Chive Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
Good, but I wish I had fresh chives when I made this. I'll try it again, using fresh chives and fresh garlic instead.

I put this on top of mixed greens and sliced radishes. Nice mix of textures!

Peanut Blossoms II

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
I too used butter instead of shortening, and they turned out amazing! I also made half of the cookies with peanut butter-filled kisses. They take a little longer to harden back up, but they turned out excellent!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
I made my own graham cracker crust in a 9-inch springform and put it in there. I wish I had taken the suggestions to make it thicker, I wanted more! This was so creamy too! It made a beautiful cheesecake, no cracks at all.

Classic Candied Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
Very good, but make sure to use the yellow-fleshed sweet potatoes. I used the whiteish ones, and while they tasted good, they looked unappetizing.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
Four stars for method, five stars for flavor. Keeping this in a crock pot is a good idea, but does NOT need more than an hour to cook. I had mine in for four hours on low, and it was mushy. This would've been perfect in the oven instead, great flavor!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
I doubled the recipe, I knew these would go fast! I also didn't like the consistency of the frosting in the middle, so I added twice as much heavy whipping cream. It was much easier to spread and nice and fluffy. Be sure to use a teaspoon to make the balls, I used a tablespoon and they spread way too big.

Cream Cheese Cookie Cups

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
I used my own favorite chocolate chip recipe for this instead. I will spray these better next time with baking pam, because they were hard to get out of the pan and I ruined several. Otherwise, great idea!
