Grilled Potato Wedges with Malt Vinegar-Tarragon Dip

This is a really great recipe for the dip! Watch the vinegar though, because it quickly goes from reducing to being burnt sludge on the bottom of the pan. I love mayonnaise, but next time I'll make it a little healthier--1 cup mayo and 1/2 cup fat free sour cream.

This is such an easy and great recipe. Can't believe I hadn't made it this way before. For my second batch, I added some strawberries I pureed. This one is a keeper.

Fried Cabbage II

This tastes almost like a dish I get at a favorite teriyaki place. Next time I'll serve it over white rice. I also added a little cayenne and a jalapeno to give it more heat.

Make sure your cream cheeese is softened, otherwise you get globs of it in the pie. I used the zest of two lemons, and thought the taste was great.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

These ARE very soft, the dough is hard to form into balls. Once you bake them they turn into a nicer shape, unlike what you drop on the cookie sheet! Excellent flavor!

Jalapeno Popper Wontons

Wow these are good! I accidentally added 4 ounces of chile peppers instead of jalapenos and they were still awesome. I can't wait to make them again using jalapenos. I baked them for 7 minutes at each side at 400 degrees F.

Miso Soup

A great base recipe, the dashi really helps the flavor. They have vegetarian versions of dashi too! I loaded the soup with fresh mushrooms and a little broccoli too to make it a main dish.

Sweet Onion Pie

I agree with the people who said this needs to sit before serving, like 15 minutes at least. Next time I'll use less milk too, I don't like my pie or quiche so watery. Flavor was excellent though.

I really loved this sandwich! I bought 6 massive sandwich rolls, cut them in half, and put them together in an assembly line. I made one vegetarian and one without tomatoes for special diets. I used only one clove of garlic and half of the oil and it was the perfect amount.

PHILADELPHIA Vanilla Mousse Cheesecake

I made this as is, but next time I make it I'll use a graham cracker crust instead. Seemed like the Nilla wafers got soggy. I'll also make whipped cream from scratch. The cool whip was good for a shortcut, but I'd rather have the real thing!
