Peach Cobbler Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2007
Make this bread for the second time. I thought it was great the first time but not a lot of peach flavor. Second time I decreased the water by 1 T. and added 1 T. of peach schnapps and this gave it that "extra" kick. I also did not beat in all the peaches. Chopped them up into small chunks this added a nicer effect to the bread.

If you like chocolate you'll LOVE this one! Great chocolate fudgy taste good with milk. Next time I'll add nuts. P.S. Don't over bake these or they become hard.

Apricot Amaretto Chews

Reviewed: May 3, 2004
Great cookie!! My first pan came out a little flat so I had to add more flour(about 1/2 c. more) for them to puff. Nice taste and texture.

Nutmeg Cake

Reviewed: May 9, 2004
I made this cake with fresh nutmeg and it was fabulous. I did not use the frosting recipe with it instead used homemade vanilla buttercream frosting. I will make this one again!!

Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2003
This recipe was real easy using bread machine. I made it a second time using orange peel and sugar for filling, omitted topping and frosted with orange frosting. Great when slightly warm. Thanks for this easy one.

the filling melts when you put it back in oven for the 2-3min. bland cookie would not recommend this one and I love cookies. Please note that when I made cookies this was not the original recipe. Someone revised this version. ( Original version didn't have any eggs listed.) Also my comments were edited!)

This recipe was good but not great. Mine turned out a little flat and oily but had a nice butterscotch flavor. Overall they were good.

Orange Cream Cake IV

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2001
This cake sounded so good I just had to try it and it came out perfect! I used only half of the sour cream in the frosting stirring it into the confectioners sugar. Then I added that to the whipped topping. This is NOT too sweet.

Cinnamon Hazelnut Biscotti

Reviewed: May 3, 2004
This is a good cookie, it has a nice delicate flavor, but I recommend toasting the nuts before using in the recipe they have a much more nutty taste. The next time I make this I will use mixed nuts and add nutmeg. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2003
I've just finished making this bread for the second time. The first ones didn't last more than a day. This bread is moist and just the right amount of spices that it doesn't overpowers the pumpkin. I used fresh pumpkin and my husband thinks it taste almost like pumpkin pie. Thanks for sharing. We gave it 2 thumbs up!

Banana Bread V

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2003
Just got done baking this recipe for the second time. It has got the best flavor and texture for banana bread that I have had in a long time. Most banana breads tend to be slightly solid and a "rubbery" but this one not solid at all. Thanks for the recipe!!

Moist Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2014
I found these to way too dry...almost like they were three days old. ( I didn't make the gooey topping because I wanted to frost them.) Also didn't rise much too. They did have a good flavor but I'll not be making these again. Sorry

Ben Lippen School Coffee Cake (Mrs. Hathaway's recipe)

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2014
This was just OK. If I would have read the other reviews I would have changed the topping to brown sugar and doubled it. This was more cake-like than coffee cake texture.

Spiced Plum Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2004
This was a good recipe for extra plums. It was a bit too spicy for my family so I only used 1/2 of the spices. It came out perfect. Thanks for this one.
