These are 5 stars IF you use almond filling instead of almond paste. I also use a little more jam. Everyone loves these!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
I used 1/2 the package of Italian dressing packet and cream of mushroom soup instead of the chicken. Served it over egg noodles, yum!

Grill Dough

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
I precooked the dough on one side then we put toppings on that side (so the uncooked side was on the grill). Everyone got to make their own pizza, great!

Heather's Cilantro, Black Bean, and Corn Salsa

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
I used a bag of thawed frozen corn instead of the canned and I omitted the avacado so it would last longer in the fridge. I also used fresh grape tomatoes, I think that they taste great all year round. Everyone loved it!

Puppy Chow

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2008
My kids and their friends love this! It is very easy to make as well. Instead of mixing the powdered sugar in a bag I just mixed it in the bowl that I mixed the cereal and chocolate mixture in, seemed like it would be less messy. Perfect!

Wow! This cake is great. The only changes that I made were I used slivered almonds instead of wlanuts and I made my own icing and mixed in real whipped cream.

Broccoli Cheese Soup III

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
After reading some of the other reviews I changed a few things. I added 1 quart of chicken stock, and used 1 can of cream of celery soup and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup and then used 1 cup of fat free 1/2 and 1/2 instead of the milk. I also added some grated carrot for color and i chopped the broccoli pretty finely so it would be evenly distributed. Tt was plenty thick, actually when I reheated I added a little water. With these changes my family gave it 5 stars.
