This was the first time I tried making apple pie, and a pie with top and bottom crust(they're not very common here in Portugal). I didn't know it could be this easy and turn out so good.
As many users advised, I added more than 2 tablespoons of flour. However, since I had to use less apples than those called for(about 500 grams) because of the plate size I used, I suppose that if you are to use the original amount it would be better to add flour, butter, cinnamon and sugar to get the same great flavor I got - and it wasn't runny at all after baking.
I also followed a user's advice and used the oil pie crust recipe you can find in this site. I second that advice, it's easy to make and matches really well with the filling.
