Balsamic Bruschetta

Yum-O!! This was good, the whole family loved it! I made it to use up leftover tomatoes and we served it over pasta. My husband had it on a toasted bagel the next day for lunch. Imagine how good it would be with tomatoes in season on toasted French bread!!

Christmas Stollen

This was amazing! I soaked the raisins in rum as others suggested and added cinnamon to the dough as well. I put everything in the bread machine on the dough setting and let it go. When it was done, I followed the rest of the directions, let it rise about 40 minutes and baked it. It turned out perfectly! It was delicious, I will definitely make this again next Christmas. Thanks for a great recipe!

Mexican Lasagna I

This was very good. I will make it again, but next time I will put some of the picante sauce on the bottom of the pan to keep the noodles from stiking. Also, it might be good with shredded chicken too or instead of ground beef.

Banana Split Cookies

I was looking for a way to use old bananas other than making banana bread. I chose these and they turned out very good, but they still tasted like banana bread, texture and all. Next time I will try adding sherries and nuts and see if that makes them different. They were good, just not different enough from regular banana bread.

Grammie's Sweet Milk Cookies

YUM!! These were really good. To make sure they are nice and chewy, only bake them until they are barely getting browned. We all loved these cookies.

Mandarin Chicken Roll-Ups

I loved this recipe! I cooked the chicken and peppers together and served it warm instead of putting it in the fridge. I also thought it needed a little something to make it moister and to hold it together so I mixed it all with a few blops of mayo and a spoonful of roasted red pepper spread. That was really good!
