Mini Cheesecakes I

These were really good. I wish I could give this 4 1/2 stars. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is b/c the serving size is a little confusing. If you are using a regular 12 muffin tin pan, this will actually make about 12-14 mini cheesecakes. I had to double the recipe. Will definitely keep this in my recipe box. Thank you.

Sizzling Southwest Burgers

My husband I LOVED these. We love to grill. So, I have been making these for the past 3 years now. It's a nice change from your ordinary burger. If you like tacos, you will love these burgers. My only recommendation would be to chop up the peppers and onions really fine otherwise your burger may fall apart. Either that or use less green pepper as I tend to do sometimes.

Pizza Dough I

I've been so unsuccessful at making pizza that I finally found an easy recipe. This was AWESOME!!!! I think I might take another reviewer's suggestion and use less flour. It all stuck together with the exception of about a 1/4 cup of flour. I ended up adding more warm water and a tiny bit of olive oil to make it stick. I made the Exquisite Pizza Sauce from this site to go with it.

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

This was soooo good. I did not add anchovy paste b/c I don't like it. Also, I did not have any cayenne pepper or dried red pepper flakes on hand. I thought the sauce was a little too sweet, so I will reduce the honey to 1 T. next time. I made this with the Pizza Dough I recipe on this site. I used all of the sauce for it, but I think 1/2 is enough. I am giving this 5 stars b/c the taste was absolutely superb. Thank you!!!

Fruit Dip II

This dip is amazing. Every time I make it, it always goes sooo fast. I just made it to bring into work tomorrow. I let the cream cheese sit out for a bit to soften while I made dinner. I took CAPEMOM77's suggestion of dipping a spoon in very hot water for the ease of getting the marshmallow creme out of the jar. I also added 1 tsp of vanilla extract. By the time I was done with dinner, I was able to mix everything with a spoon.

Golden Rum Cake

This was so delish. I made this for Father's Day and everyone devoured it. Next time I will halve the rum b/c it was a bit too strong, but it still got rave reviews. Also, I thought the glaze was a bit too runny. So, next time, instead of brushing the glaze on, I might just put half of it in the bundt pan, reinsert the cake, and pour the rest of the glaze on the bottom.

Best Lemonade Ever

I am giving this 4 stars b/c I did not pay attention to the directions. I was really in the mood for lemonade all of a sudden. I used bottled lemon juice and mixed all ingredients together in a Pampered Chef Quick Stir pitcher. I did not boil the water and the sugar. The sugar dissolved quickly in the Pampered Chef pitcher. Thanks for a great recipe.

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Sue's Taco Salad

I was looking for something quick, easy, and tasty to make after work. This was absolutely amazing!!! I pretty much followed the recipe to the T with the exception of adding some sliced olives. Also, I only added a few kidney beans to my portion as my husband does not care for them. Thank you for a wonderful recipe.

Baby Back Ribs

This was the first time I, too, made ribs b/c I thought they were too time consuming. I used KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce. These were excellent. They are so succulent and melt in your mouth. Definitely a keeper. I think next time I will season the ribs with a little salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

I have tried several different oatmeal cookie recipes. I finally found a soft chewy oatmeal cookie. The name says it all. I just made these this am for my husband to take on his business trip. I had to make a second batch b/c we ate so many of them already! Thanks for the recipe Bittersweet1. This is a keeper!!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

This is the best cornbread recipe I have ever made. I've made this 6 times already. Every time I have made it, I always doubled or tripled the recipes. We can eat it with Chili or as is.
