About this Cook
I am 28 years old. I have been married for almost 5 years to my best friend in the world. I have three amazing children (4 yrs,2 1/2 years and almost 13 months) The oldest and youngest are girls and the middle is a boy.We have another due in August and hopefully there will be many more to come. My husband and my children are my life.... and cooking for them is a big part of that.
My favorite things to cook
I Love making enchiladas and anything else that my family loves.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I didn't have any cooking traditions growing up. But, I am begining some for my family. my little ones love to help in the kitchen. We make a big deal over baking and decorating birthday cakes/cupcakes.
My cooking triumphs
I created a smoothie with spinach in it. My kids LOVE it. I think getting children to eat veggies is always a triumph.
My cooking tragedies
Lets see.... mushy vegie burgers, dry homemade cake and many others. But tragedies are good cuz you can learn from it and do better next time!

Good 100% Whole Wheat Bread
okay! I am a bread failure and I just succeeded with this recipe! WooHoo! I subbed out real milk in place of the water and dry milk and used real butter! mmmmm Just made sandwiches with it and my almost 6 year old declared it "perfect".

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars
These were really good. I would agree with the comments to cut back a bit on the butter, but they still tasted awesome! I was out of peanut butter, so I just sprinkled choc chips on the warm oat mixture and spread them as they melted. MMMMMMMMM.......
