Very sweet and very yummy! I sent these to a spanish/english class my husband helps out with and they were gone, gone, gone! :-) I made the dough in the bread machine and the topping by hand. Excellent!!!!! My kids asked me to make them again.....soon! Thanks for the recipe!

Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2008
I served this at a baby shower...everyone loved it. I froze the 'slush' in the freezer the day before and then put it in the fridge right before going to bed. I froze in 2 large bowls. When I ran out of first bowl I microwaved the second frozen bowl and it turned out perfectly.

Mom's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
I think this used to be called 'Down Home Macaroni and Cheese' on this site. At any rate, we love it! I made it for my husband for Fathers Day....he loves this stuff! I double the topping. Yum.

Rolled Buttercream Fondant

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2008
This is the first time I have worked with fondant. It worked fine but the thing I did not like was the taste. I would not cover a whole cake with it. I am not sure if all fondant tastes this way.....

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
Exceptional! I added celery and carrots which I cooked with cubed raw chicken in olive oil in my soup pot first. I also used milk instead of heavy cream. My husband went nuts over this soup! I will make again and again. Thank you for the recipe!

Corn Chowder IV

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2005
This is THE best corn chowder we have ever had! Cooked the bacon very crispy (we don't like gobs of fat chucks floating around) and added an extra can of regular corn. Simply delicious!

Blueberry Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
Excellent! My guest and family thought this tasted outstanding. Served it over pancakes. They all could taste the OJ but it complimented the blueberries wonderfully. I have extra that I will put on cheesecake squares.

Jumbo Breakfast Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2008
I followed the recipe exactly only cutting it in half. I also made the cookies 1/4 cup each. The thing we did not like about them was the cheerios became these sort of hard nubs to bite into....not sure I'd make these again. The idea is a good one for a quick out the door breakfast but....

Pumpernickel Rye Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
The only thing I added was 3T of Gluten. The bread tuned out very nice, rose well, great color, my husband didn't think the flavor was quite right. I might cut down on the cocoa powder next time. Thanks for the recipe.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
I was SO hesitant about trying this recipe. I am glad I did though. Made it as is for my father-in-law's visit and it was a hit! My husband ate so much of them he was ill. :-) I love, love, loved the ease and hotness of having the potatoes in the slow cooker! No more big mess right at dinner and no more cold spuds! Thnak you for the recipe! Oh and I did the towel under the crock pot lid and it worked quite well.

Caramel Frosting I

Great frosting. I used skim milk and it was still wonderful. Drizzled over 'Apple Cake VII'. I like the way it hardens very pretty on the cake. I would make this again.

Great dish! Easy! I did not have any broccoli so I used diced pimentos. Gave it a nice color. I also used penne pasta and fresh parmesan cheese. My husband says it's a "keeper". Thank you.
