Excellent! Our kids love these. I do not use the glaze at all and they are so moist and delish!

Bacon Quiche Tarts

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
Wonderful! I have made these with cooked bacon and also with real bacon bits. The bacon bits speed up the process and are just as good. I also have used dried minced onion when I do not have scallions. Our guests love, love, love! Thanks for a keeper!

German Brotchen Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
I modified this recipe for my bread machine. I halfed the yeast, sugar, water, salt and flour. They turned out yummy but lacked the overall crusty texture I was looking for. I am going to try to get a pan that has holes in it to bake it next time...I used a stone this time. I really want this to work as we love German Brotchen.

Pumpernickel Rye Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
The only thing I added was 3T of Gluten. The bread tuned out very nice, rose well, great color, my husband didn't think the flavor was quite right. I might cut down on the cocoa powder next time. Thanks for the recipe.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2007
Exceptional! I did not shred the chicken, I cooked it seperate and cubed it. Then used better than buillion for the stock. Everything else as recipe stated. I will serve to guests this winter. My husband raved! And our 7 year old ate bowls and bowls. Thanks for a great recipe!

Jamie's Minestrone

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2007
This is a very good, healthy soup. My husband and I enjoyed the flavor and although our 4 kids (7,6,3&2) ate it, they didn't care for all the vegetables :-). I used fresh green beans and frozen spinach. I would not add any spinach at all the next time. And I did add a bit of cauliflour. Thank you for the recipe!

Bread Machine Bagels

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2006
These are just like bakery bagels! I made 6, not 9 from the recipe as is. I also made 1 and 1/2 the recipe the second time to make 9 good sized bagels. We added poppy seeds, sesame seeds, onion flakes and oatmeal to make a variety. Served them to some overnight guests and they loved them. YUM! Thank you!

This was very good. A winner with my husband. I did not use jalepenos but used green chiles instead. Will make again. Thank you.

Chocolate Banana Bread

Our kids thought this was good. My husband and I didn't. I guess we really just like old fashioned banana banana bread. Thank you for the recipe.

Ham and Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2006
Followed some reviewers suggestions to add the cheese in with flour/milk sauce. Maybe this was the problem....we did not like the flavor of this dish.

Seven Grain Bread II

Very good. I used brown sugar instead of honey. And I used a whole grain cold cereal with dates, raisins, etc. in it. Turned out yummy. Thanks!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2005
I served this to guests tonight. Everyone liked it. I did not use wine, but used 1/2 cup chicken broth using 'better than bullion'. I found this made the dish a hint too salty. I will just use water next time. Delicious!
