My husband works in the oilfield and I don't get much of a chance to really cook a meal, but when I do I go all out. I like big meals and making dinner for dinner parties at our home. I tend to either go the meat and potatoes route or I get crazy! You never know what you're getting at our table. All of my favorites involve recipes handed down from my grandmother. Homemade potato salad, Indian fry-bread, and tuna casserole are some of the staples in my kitchen. My now famous stuffed pork chops that I threw together one night with ingredients I had in the house. Bahahaha, the purple chicken...no white wine in the house, I used red and VOILA! Purple chicken!
