Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
I was disappointed and found that this recipe really didn't add much flavor at all - it was just smeared over the fish but it was still just fish.

Shrimp and Artichoke Linguine

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
All this recipe needs is: Double the Garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Also needs added about 1/2 t. of garlic powder and 1/2-1tesp of Fresh Cracked pepper at the end...PERFECT!

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2009
VERY YUMMIE! Based on some people's suggestions that the paprika was too much I seasoned each chicken breast with a little salt, paprika, and garlic powder. I only mixed the mustard and Honey together (with a little bit of Hot sauce because we like things spicy) and cooked the chicken as the recipe states. It came out moist and delicious.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
I like to make this recipe but one thing I do is I boil some noodles (usually spaghetti) and serve the chicken over the noodles - the balsamic mixture makes a really good sauce!

Spicy Chicken Spaghetti

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
like some other people I was a little weirded out by the corn but decided to give it a try. The recipe was actually REALLY good and I did like the crunch that the corn gave it. My husband (who likes nothing) even liked it!

Monterey Chicken with Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
I was kind of disappointed with this recipe. It tasted much better after adding about a whole lime's worth of lime juice before eating (instead of just garnished lime wedges).

Chicken Crunch

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
Was pretty good - I had a couple of substitutions because I was out of sour cream and butter rounds. I used 8 oz of fat free evaporated milk instead of sour cream and saltines for the topping. I also added a little bit of shredded cheddar cheese before I put the crackers on top.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2007
Mmmmnnnn....I used small ramikans instead of a muffin tin because I only made a couple then froze the rest. I took someone's suggestion and spread the margerine (not a 1/2 c., just as much as i needed) over the dough then spread the dry cinnamon/brown sugar mixture over the dough. I lined the ramikans with some shortening and extra of the cinnamon mixture. I also made a quick glaze with milk/shortening/powdered sugar. YUM!

Garlic-Lime Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2007
YUMMIE. I used some salsa my husband had made (spicy) but it didn't show through a lot in the sauce. I used extra hot pepper sauce. I would suggest that if anyone likes it spicy to add some extra hot pepper sauce while cooking.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2007
It's okay. Didn't have as much flavor as I would have liked, I didn't get the garlic flavor even though it has 10 garlic cloves in it (wonder if it was my cloves??). I did mash the cloves to make the sauce like someone else suggested - It was a nice idea, but it just wasn't what i expected.

Neat Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2007
Pretty good - It doesn't say how much to chop up the celery and I left it a little too big. I would dice up the celery instead of just a reg. slices. My hubby, who only likes one sloppy joe recipe (his mothers), enjoyed them; so I will make it again.

Savory Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2005
i liked this recipe. I used fat free half and half instead of milk and I added some majoram and season salt (initially instead of regular salt). I tasted it as it was simmering and noted that it did taste "floury" as another user stated so I added some kosher salt in addition and it turned out great! I put it on steak and it was really good - I wouldn't recommend it for anything like pasta it is too "gravyish" for that.
